Brothers Talha B. and Maan B. grew-up in a time when cinema was banned. They are at Cannes for the first time with their short film, "Film School Musical." For the first time, Saudi Arabia has a national pavilion at the festival.
Egyptian producer Mohamed Hefzy sees increased attention to Arab films at Cannes. He believes the spotlight on the Arab world through politics and the media has sparked interest in films from the region. Hefzy funds and distributes films from young Arab filmmakers.
