Virtual Climb (02:32)

Mt. Everest is the highest mountain on Earth; viewers will follow the climbing path up the North Face. The journey begins at a monastery in Tibet; base camp is 5,150 meters above sea level. Climbers spend two months in camp to reduce the chance of altitude sickness.

Advanced Base Camp (01:53)

This camp is 22 kilometers from base camp. The body receives 40% of the oxygen it would receive at sea level and movements and breathing become more difficult. You will trek toward the advanced base camp at least 10 times before reaching it and making camp.

North Col Camp (02:04)

Climbers participate in a blessing ceremony before making a push toward the summit. The route to the camp is a nearly vertical climb of 400 meters that can take seven hours.

Summit Push (04:16)

Climbers will attempt to summit during the last summit window of the year. They risk a loss of oxygen and getting stuck in the Death Zone. Climbers reach the summit at 8,848 meters.
