James Crabb and Geir Draugsvoll perform a piece from "Petrushka" by Igor Stravinsky. The duo uses classical accordions, enabling each hand to play a melody. They perform excerpts from Modest Mussorgsky's piece.

"Symphony of Sorrowful Songs" (02:34)

Evans sings the second movement from Henryk Górecki's "Symphony No. 3." The composer was inspired by the inscriptions in a WWII Polish prison.

"Che Gelida Manina" (06:30)

Gwyn Hughes Jones has a lyrical voice which he expects will continue to develop as he ages. He performs the from the piece from Puccini's "La Boheme."

"Sinfonietta" (04:20)

The BBC National Orchestra of Wales performs the third movement by Janácek. The piece expresses pride in the new Czechoslovak Republic.

"Parigi, o Cara" (04:27)

Evans and Hughes Jones perform a duet from "La Traviata" by Guiseppe Verdi. Violetta plans to leave with Alfredo but she collapses and they realize she is dying. (Credits)
