Carter became more secretive of her eating habits. She graduated high school and vowed to give up bulimic tendencies. At college, she met a girl with an eating disorder.
Competitive Weight Loss (03:48)
Carter and her new friend Kristin obsessively dieted, binged, and purged together. Kristin became emaciated and eventually starved herself to death.
Program Epilogue (01:41)
Carter was sent to a clinic for eating disorders. After four years, she came to understand the psychiatry of eating disorders. She encourages sufferers to get help.
