Making Marshmallows: Extracting Gelatin
Jimmy Doherty builds a factory in a barn to recreate the recipes for children's favorite foods. To make marshmallows, he treats pig skin and bones with acid to extract collagen for producing gelatin. He then boils the "soup," strains it, and keeps the liquid.
