By turning down the temperature, he makes soft-serve ice cream, then uses a high-pressure crusher to create prawn crackers. Jimmy also discovers what goes into the little extras that takeout places give away for free. And he meets a broccoli farmer to see why he’s in such a hurry to cool off. A BBC Production. Jimmy asks people to taste soft-serve ice cream. He is going to make his own to find out why it tastes sweeter than regular ice cream. Basic ingredients are ice, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. He uses liquid nitrogen to freeze the cream.
